April's Flashlight Game with the Klarus RS16

Did you know that there are a ton of games that you can play using a flashlight? Well, we decided that every month we wanted to introduce our readers to a new game or fun activity with a flashlight! Sounds great, yes? Yes! Ok, so April has just begun and the weather is not quite warm enough to justify playing games outside so the game for April is one that you can play indoors or outdoors. It’s called Morse Code Scavenger Hunt!

First, pass out morse code sheets like the one below and pass them out to all the players. One designated player will hide an object somewhere in the house or room or wherever they might be. They will then tell all the other players where they hid the object in morse code using their flashlight. Whoever cracks the code and finds the hidden object first wins! This is a game that can be played with adults and children!

So why did we add the Klarus RS16 in the title? Well I’ll be honest, it was partly for SEO reasons and partly because it’s a great flashlight for this game. At it’s brightest setting the RS16 delivers 380 lumens which is definitely bright, but not blinding. Also, it has 4 total brightness modes to choose from so the players can pick a mode based on everybody’s preference. On its lowest brightness mode the RS16 has a runtime of up to 475 hours. But even on its highest brightness setting the RS16 can last over an hour which is still plenty of time to play this game. Finally, the RS16 is incredibly compact and lightweight. It can easily be passed around from player to player and can be placed in pocket for easy carry. Plus, it has balloons in the picture so you know it’s ready for a party!
