Best LED Flashlights Under $50

Being a flashlight enthusiast can be hard on your wallet. Flashlights can cost quite a bit of money and you absolutely want to know that you're getting what you paid for. That being said, there are plenty of LED flashlights at a reasonable cost that are practical, powerful, and high quality. Whether you’re looking for your first flashlight or your 15th flashlight, you can find something that's perfect for you and that won't cost an exorbitant amount of money. In this blog I want to look at four different flashlights that cost less than $50 each. Each of these flashlights is different from one another and have their own unique features so you can choose which LED flashlight is best for you.

FlashlightZ Beacon 1000 Lumen Tactical Flashlight

1000 Lumen Tactical Flashlight FlashlightZ Beacon

The first flashlight I want to talk about is the FlashlightZ Beacon. This is a truly an economical choice if you're wanting a tactical flashlight. It's straightforward, simple, and practical delivering up to 1000 lumens. It features an adjustable beam so you can choose between a flood light, a throw light, or something in between. The Beacon even reaches out a maximum distance of 800 meters! With its single tail switch design, the Beacon is very easy to operate and features three brightness levels as well as an SOS mode and a strobe mode for emergencies. Between the adjustable beam and the different brightness levels, the Beacon is quite a versatile flashlight and is great for household use.

It's also an 18650 flashlight which means that it runs on an 18650 lithium-ion battery. The Beacon is also a USB rechargeable flashlight with a charging indicator. So all you need is a USB adapter and a charging cord, which the Beacon does come with as part of its accessories, and you don't need to worry about buying extra batteries or a battery charger. The Beacon makes a great gift for friends and loved ones and it is a great tactical flashlight whether you are a beginner tactical flashlight user or seasoned tactical flashlight user. Check out the FlashlightZ Beacon.

Klarus XT1A 1000 Lumen Everyday Carry Flashlight

Klarus XT1A Best Everyday Carry Flashlight

Klarus has recently released the upgraded XT1A tactical flashlight. This is an AA sized flashlight that's made for everyday carry so it's lightweight and compact. It delivers 1000 lumens which is an impressive amount of light for a pocket flashlight. With it's dual tail switches, the XT1A is very easy to operate and also features five total outputs including a strobe and an SOS.

One of the great things about the Klarus XT1A tactical flashlight is that it features two programmable settings that you can choose between. The Tactical Setting allows you to have a One-Touch Turbo and a One-Touch Strobe whereas the Outdoor Setting allows you to have a One-Touch Turbo and a One-Touch Low. Between these two settings you can make sure the flashlight is exactly what you need when you need it.

The XT1A can run on a 14500 battery or an AA battery which is great because AA batteries are very easy to come by and quite inexpensive. The XT1A does come with a Klarus 14500 USB rechargeable battery. This means you can take the battery out of the flashlight and charge it using any standard micro USB charge cable. The Klarus XT1A EDC flashlight has a lot going for it and it's one of the best LED flashlights on the market that's under $50.

Klarus ST10 1100 Lumen LED Flashlight

1100 Lumen Best LED Flashlight Klarus ST10

The Klarus ST10 is another great rugged LED flashlight that's perfect for general household use or even outdoor use. It delivers 1100 lumens and features a soft flood light that's perfect for any up close work. With its side switch, the ST10 is easy to operate with a single hand and you can learn the user interface very quickly. It features six total outputs including a strobe mode and SOS mode so you're always ready for anything. The ST10 also features a built-in memory function that will remember the last brightness level you used, a One-Touch Low, and a lockout function to prevent the flashlight from turning on accidentally.

The ST10 is a compact flashlight and can easily be clipped onto your pocket or slipped into a bag. It is an 18650 flashlight and comes with a Klarus 18650 battery, but it can also run on two CR123 batteries. The ST10 is USB rechargeable and features a charging and battery capacity indicator located on the side switch. The battery capacity indicator is especially useful so you can plan your usage based on what charge is left in the battery. The Klarus ST10 is an excellent LED flashlight that you should definitely check out.

Klarus Mi1C 600 Lumen Pocket Flashlight

Klarus Mi1C EDC Light

The Mi1C is a tiny everyday carry flashlight that truly packs a punch with its 600 lumens. The first thing I want to say about this flashlight is that it comes in aluminum, copper, and titanium. However, only the aluminum version is under $50 so that's the one we’ll be talking about. The Mi1C features a curved lens that provides a soft and completely even floodlight so there is no hotspot whatsoever. It features six outputs that includes a strobe and SOS and features a single side switch for easy operation. The side switch can be locked out to prevent any accidental illumination. The Mi1C also features a fade on and fade off function that allows your eyes to easily adjust to the brightness difference. It also features a built-in memory function that will remember the last brightness level you used and turn on to that level.

As I said before, the Mi1C is a tiny flashlight and runs on either a 16340 battery or a CR123A battery. Klarus has included a 16340 battery with USB recharging which means that you are able to charge the battery directly using any micro USB cable. It's great that the Mi1C can run on CR123A batteries as these are less expensive than lithium-ion batteries. However, you won't see the full 600 lumens on a CR123A battery.

Finally, one of my favorite features of this little EDC light is the magnetic tailcap. You can attach the Mi1C to any metal surface and illuminate the area completely hands-free. This makes the Klarus Mi1C one of the best everyday carry flashlights that's under $50.

Concluding Remarks

So in this blog I have provided four completely different and unique LED flashlights that are under $50. Whether you're looking for an everyday carry flashlight, a tactical flashlight, an outdoor flashlight, or what-have-you, you can most likely find an excellent high quality flashlight for less than $50. These are just a few that we highlighted but we have more than just these four flashlights that are inexpensive. Make sure to check out our other LED flashlights that are under $50.
