This LED flashlight features a triple switch design with two tail switches and a side switch that functions independently meaning that you can operate the flashlight either with the tail switches or the side switch. Klarus FX10 Multiple Outputs and Programmable Settings

To add to its versatility, the FX10 LED flashlight features six total outputs which includes four brightness levels ranging from 10 lumens to 1000 lumens, a strobe mode, and an SOS mode. Klarus included multiple outputs so that the FX10 was ready for anything. While it's nice having 1000 lumens as a turbo, the other brightness levels allow you to better illuminate whatever area you happen to be in. These settings only affect the tail switches’ operation so the side switch will remain the same no matter which setting you have it in. In the Tactical Setting, you'll have access to the One-Touch Turbo and the One-Touch Strobe. In the Outdoor Setting, you'll have access to the One-Touch Turbo and One-Touch Low. It's easy to switch between settings so if you wanted to keep your flashlight in the Tactical Setting most of the time and switch it to the Outdoor Setting on camping trips, you could easily do that.

Rechargeable Flashlight

The Klarus FX10 is a USB rechargeable flashlight. It features a micro USB port located on the side that is protected by a silicone cover. When you're charging the flashlight, you can check the charging status by looking at the indicator on the side switch. You’ll notice that it glows red while you're charging and green when it's finished. This indicator also functions as a battery level indicator so it will glow a certain color for a few seconds when you first turn the flashlight on. Depending on the color it glows, you can get a good idea of how much charge you have left in your battery. This is especially useful for outdoor activities as well as tactical tasks. When you notice that your battery has a lower voltage, you can decide if it's time to change the battery or charge the battery.

Speaking of the battery, this LED flashlight can run on a single 18650 battery, two CR123A batteries, or two Klarus 16340 batteries. With high quality LED flashlights, you’ll often see that they are compatible with multiple battery types. It’s always great to be able to choose your power source. However, using CR123A batteries or 16340 batteries may change the output and run times so that is something to keep in mind.
