Klarus RS20: The Perfect Survival Flashlight!

o we were asked recently which light at FlashlightZ would be considered our best survival flashlight and it seemed to be a no-brainer for us: the Klarus RS20 with a shocking maximum lumen output of 1050! This light is truly the greatest survival flashlight that we have. It’s called the 3-in-1 flashlight because it provides a primary LED along with multi-colored side LEDs so it can be used as a spotlight, lantern, and bike light. Altough calling it 3-in-1 doesn’t do the RS20 justice.

The side LEDs on the RS20 include a White, Red, Green, and Blue light that can be used for a multitude of situations. The White side LED can be used as a lantern or area light for easy hands-free illumination. The Blue side LED is perfect for spotting any blood trails or fluids while hunting. The Green side LED is perfect for map reading and has a Flash mode that can be used as a location beacon. Finally, the Red side LED can be used to illuminate your path without obstructing your natural night vision. It also has an emergency SOS mode which serves as an international standard rescue signal or you can use it to signal danger or caution.

One of the most convenient aspects about the RS20 is that it’s rechargeable. It actually comes with this really cool magnetic connection USB charging cable and the RS20 can self-locate the magnetic charger when it's in range. This allows for quick, easy, and safe charging. The flashlight is also incredibly durable withstanding drops up to 1 meter and is waterproof up to 2 meters in the water! So it can stand some harsh weather for sure!
