September's Flashlight Game Reflection Hunt Part 3
Share
We are on the last Reflection Hunt game! Aren’t you going to miss it? There’s no need for tears though as we have more games to discuss this year. Who knew you could have so many games with flashlights, right? Well, anyways, let’s move onto this month’s flashlight game: Reflection Hunt Part 3. Like the other ones, this Reflection Hunt can also be played both indoors and outdoors. Although, playing it outdoors would be significantly more fun considering how nice the weather is getting!

So to play this game you will need a bunch of reflective items, just like the other Reflection Hunt games, tags or those little garage sale price stickers, and, of course, flashlights. Any mirrors, metallic objects, jewelry, sunglasses, marbles and more will work. Once you’ve gathered a significant number of reflective items, you’ll want to write points on them using the tags or stickers. The points you write on there depend on how easy the item is to find. For example, a cup might be 1 point, sunglasses might be 2 points, and a marble might be 3 points. You don’t actually have to put tags or stickers on the items if you don’t want to. If you’d rather, you can write down each item and how many points it is. When you finish giving all the items points it is time to hide all of them!
Once it’s dark out separate the seekers out either individually, in pairs, or in groups and give each one a flashlight. You can give them a list of items to look for or you can completely leave them in the dark (pun intended). Now send them out for a set number of time! Of course the amount of time will vary depending on the age of the seekers and how many objects you’ve hidden. Let them search for the objects and have fun finding them! When the time is up count all the points that each individual, pair, or group have accumulated. The one with the most points wins!
It was tough deciding on which flashlight to suggest for this game. I’ll be suggesting a flashlight that I already suggested, the Klarus Mi7, because it’s the perfect size, runs on a single AA battery, and comes in fun colors!
