Start the New Year with the Best Tactical Flashlights

Happy New Year, everyone! We hope you’ve had a spectacular holiday season and we hope that 2019 is a great year! Based on how 2018 ended, we’ve got high hopes for 2019. Klarus released many amazing LED flashlights in the last quarter or so of 2018 and we want to talk about a few of them today. Particularly, we’re focusing on the best tactical flashlights they came out with in the last quarter. These flashlights are powerful, practical, and innovative and cause us to wonder how Klarus will be topping themselves in 2019. Let’s take a look at some of these flashlights.

Best Tactical Flashlights of 2018

To be honest, Klarus released a lot of amazing flashlights in 2018. It was difficult to narrow the list down to our favorite best tactical flashlights. In the end, we chose three tactical flashlights that have really impressed us and that we think our followers will love! So check out these three flashlights and choose your favorite.

Klarus XT11X Tactical Flashlight

Klarus XT11X 3200 Lumen Flashlight

Klarus first released the XT11X 3200 lumen flashlight and we were super excited about this one to say the least. It features a CREE XHP70.2 P2 LED as well as an orange peel textured reflector which disperses the light beautifully creating a very wide beam to illuminate everything around you. It has a beam throw of up to 283 meters which is great because you can still see far away even though this flashlight is not a thrower.

It features a unique user interface with a triple switch design. You have two tactical tail switches as well as a single side switch that operates separately from the tail switches. The side switch allows you to turn on and off the flashlight as well as cycle through the modes and gives you access to a built-in memory function and a one-touch low. The tail switches allow you to turn the flashlight on and off, cycle through the modes, and gives you access to a momentary on, a one-touch turbo, and a one-touch strobe or a one-touch low depending on which programmable setting you have it in. Speaking of programmable settings, you can switch between the Tactical Setting or the Outdoor Setting. These settings only affect the tail switches so the side switch remains the same in either. In the Tactical setting you have a one-touch turbo and a one-touch strobe. In the Outdoor Setting you have a one-touch turbo, one-touch low, and SOS. You can switch between these two settings at any time. You can also access the six different outputs including a strobe and an SOS making sure you are prepared for any situation.

The XT11X is also a USB rechargeable flashlight and features an Intelligent Charging System. This system monitors the charging status, prevents overcharging, and limits the maximum charging current to 1A ensuring that the flashlight is charging safely and quickly. You can monitor the charging status by looking at the charging indicator which will glow a specific color to let you know if it's charging, if it's finished, or if it's not taking the charge for some reason. It also functions as a battery capacity indicator which will glow a certain color when you first turn the flashlight on letting you know where your battery level is at. The XT11X is an extremely impressive flashlight. With its wonderfully diffused light and versatile user interface, you can't go wrong. Check out the Klarus XT11X.

Klarus 360X3 Tactical Flashlight

Best Tactical Flashlight Klaus 360X3

The 360X3 is truly an innovative tactical flashlight that I'm excited to talk about today. It sure has a lot of similarities with the XT11X including the type of LED that's equipped, the output, and the beam distance, but has some major differences. The 360X3 delivers a maximum output of 3200 lumens with a maximum distance of 283 meters.

While the output is impressive, what really makes this flashlight innovative is the unique tail switch design. This tactical flashlight features the same triple switch design as the XT11X, but the tail switches are a little bit different. The 360X3 features a 360-degree omnidirectional dual switch design that allows you to operate the flashlight from any angle. The main switch is centered on the tail cap and slightly raised while the secondary switch is a ring around the main switch. With this kind of design you truly can access and operate the flashlight from any angle. With the tail switches you get a momentary on, one-touch turbo, and a one-touch strobe or one-touch low depending on which programmable setting you have the flashlight in. The side switch operates separately from the tail switches and gives you access to a built-in memory function as well as a one-touch low. This triple switch design allows you to choose which switch you prefer using at whatever given time.

The 360X3 does feature the six outputs including a strobe and SOS. It also features a Tactical Setting and an Outdoor Setting that works the same way as the XT11X that we discussed previously. You can easily switch between these two settings at any time making it extremely convenient and versatile. The 360X3 is also a USB rechargeable flashlight and features the same battery capacity/charging indicator that lets you know the status of the battery. This is an excellent tactical flashlight so make sure to check out the Klarus 360X3 today. If you want to check out a review for this flashlight, check it out here!

Klarus 360X1 Tactical Flashlight

Klarus 360X1 Best Tactical Flashlight

Klarus released the 360X1 at the same time as a 360X3. This flashlight is the little brother of the 360X1 and features a more straightforward user interface. As you can see, the body design is quite a bit different and the 360X1 is more compact. It features a CREE XHP35 HD E4 LED and delivers up to 1800 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 246 meters. Due to the difference in the reflector, the 360X1 does feature a more focused beam than the 360X3.

This tactical flashlight features the dual tail switches with the main switch in the center of the tailcap and the secondary switch circling it just like the 360X3. You have access to a momentary on, one-touch turbo, and a one-touch low or a one-touch strobe with the tail switches. The 360X1 features four brightness levels, a strobe mode, and an SOS mode so you're able to use the flashlight in multiple situations. It also features the same two programmable settings: the Tactical Setting which gives you a one-touch turbo and a one-touch strobe, and the Outdoor Setting which gives you a one-touch turbo, one-touch low, and SOS.

The 360X1 is also USB rechargeable making it extremely convenient to charge the battery on a moment's notice. You can monitor the status of the battery by checking the battery capacity/charging indicator whenever you would like. If you're wanting a flashlight that's a little more straightforward but still features that amazing tactical tail switch, check out the Klarus 360X1.
