Klarus XT12GT

The first tactical flashlight I want to talk about is the Klarus XT12GT. This is a fairly compact flashlight, but what makes it a truly phenomenal hunting flashlight is the extremely focused beam and the beam throw. It delivers up to 1600 lumens and has a maximum beam throw of 603 meters. This flashlight is perfect to pinpoint far into the distance. It's around 6.5 inches in length and can easily fit on to a rifle or be carried using its holster. You can also clip it onto your pocket using the removable pocket clip.

The user interface is great with the XT12GT. If features dual tactical tail switches that have a momentary-on as well as a One-Touch Turbo and a On-Touch Strobe or a One-Touch Low depending on what programmable setting you have it in. It comes with two programmable settings, the Tactical Setting which will give you a One-Touch Strobe, and the Outdoor Setting which will give you a One-Touch Low. Klarus XT11GT

The next flashlight I want to talk about is quite a bit smaller making it more lightweight and easier to carry around in general. The XT11GT is awesome and more powerful, delivering up to 2000 lumens. It doesn't have the same focused beam as the XT12GT and reaches out with a maximum beam distance of 316 meters. It has a great blend of spot and spill so you can see pretty far away and see everything around you as well.

The user interface on the XT11GT is quite a bit more robust. It features a triple switch design with the same dual tail switches the XT12GT has plus an added side switch that functions separately. The dual tail switches still feature the momentary-on, One-Touch Turbo, and One-Touch Strobe or One-Touch Low. The side switch offers a built-in memory function as well as a One-Touch Low. The XT11GT features three programmable settings. The Tactical Setting and Outdoor Setting function the same way as the settings for the XT12GT. The side switch won’t be affected by either of these two settings. The third setting is the Advanced Tactical Setting where the flashlight will only function in turbo and strobe using the tail switches. The side switch will be completely locked out. These settings allow you to use the XT11GT flashlight in a variety of situations.

The XT11GT is USB rechargeable making it convenient to charge the battery. It’s an 18650 flashlight, but can also be equipped with two CR123A batteries.
