The Klarus RS16 Has Upgraded to 500 Lumens

The compact and everyday carry Klarus RS16 now has a whopping maximum output of 500 lumens! This light is one of our favorite Klarus lights so there was some excitement in the office when we found out. So let’s dive into this fun flaslight!

The RS16 is a small flashlight at less than 4 inches in length, fits easily in your hand, and weighs less than 5 ounces. It has a side switch for easy operation and has four different brightness levels: high - 500 lumens, medium - 80 lumens, low - 6 lumens, and moonlight - 0.5 lumens. It also has two specialty modes: a strobe mode and an SOS mode. You can immediately access the strobe mode by double tapping the side switch and you can access the SOS mode by triple tapping the side switch.

One of our favorite features about the RS16 is the built-in magnetic charging function. It has a magnetic charging port located on the side of the flashlight and it comes with a special charging cable that self-locates when within about an inch of the charging port and can be plugged into any standard USB port. It charges the battery effectively and securely and can be removed at any time safely. Not to mention that the RS16 has a magnetic interface so you can attach the RS16 to any metal surface for hands-free illumination! It truly is a great and perfect flashlight for everyone!
