We’ve had a ton of great flashlights come out in 2016 so we thought we’d update our list of the best LED flashlights today! We want to talk about 10 total flashlights, but that blog would be pretty long so we’ll break it down into two blogs and talk about 5 flashlights in each blog.

Klarus XT12GT

This is the most recent Klarus release and has quickly become a favorite. It delivers 1600 lumens and has a maximum beam distance of over 600 meters. The throw on this flashlight is amazing! It illuminates far away areas so clearly that you can see a surprising amount of detail! The XT12GT also features two programmable settings: the Tactical setting and the Outdoor setting so you can pick whichever setting suits you or the situation best.

Another amazing feature of the XT12GT is the magnetic charging port that allows you to charge the flashlight quickly and easily along with a battery capacity and charging indicator. This LED flashlight comes with a Magnetic Charging Connector which connects to a micro USB cord and turns it into a magnetic charging cord for the XT12GT. The Connector is small enough that you can fit it on your keychain and it has a little light on it so you can use it when you need a bit of light. To learn more about the XT12GT visit this page.

This flashlight came out a couple years ago, but it’s still one of the best LED flashlights out there. It is a high performance flashlight that runs on four AA batteries! Typically, high-powered tactical flashlights will run on lithium or lithium-ion batteries which makes the LD41 truly awesome! It delivers up to 960 lumens and features four brightness modes and two flashing modes: SOS and strobe.

The LD41 features two tail switches, one switch that turns the flashlight ON and OFF and one that cycles through the modes. It also has a lock out mode to prevent the flashlight from turning on accidentally in your pocket or in a bag. The LD41 also has a unique shape to it that allows you to easily find your grip and find which switch you need to access. To learn more about the LD41 visit here.

MecArmy SGN7

MecArmy SGN7 EDC LED Flashlight

We’re switching gears here a bit from a tactical flashlight to one of the best EDC lights. The MecArmy SGN7 is a small flashlight that you can easily put in your pocket and it’s fairly flat so it doesn’t stick out. It delivers up to 550 lumens and features four different brightness modes. This flashlight is great for walking the dog at night, walking from the office to your car, and more. It can easily light your way and provide ease of mind while walking in the dark.

One great feature of the SGN7 is the secondary triangular switch which, when pressed, activates strobe as well as a shrieking alarm. This is an excellent tool for emergencies and if you are being threatened this feature can disorient an attacker while calling attention to others who may be around. This EDC light is also USB rechargeable and can charge fully in just one hour! To read more about the SGN7 visit here.
