We’re excited to talk about these next 5 LED flashlights today, especially since I used one of them last night when the attic light sudenly when out. The great thing about flashlights is that when you start using them consistently, you can’t be without them. They are incredibly helpful tools and often, in many situations, necessary.


Klarus XT11S

Klarus XT11S 1100 Lumens Tactical Flashlight


So I know we talked about the XT11GT in the last blog, but the XT11S is also one of the best tactical flashlights and while the two flashlights are very similar, there are some key differences. The XT11S delivers 1100 lumens and has a very focused and tight beam. It also features four different brightness levels, two flashing modes, and three programmable settings: the Conventional Tactical Mode, the Hunting Mode, and the Advanced Tactical Mode. These modes mirror that of the XT11GT.

The XT11S is also USB rechargeable and comes with a protected 18650 2600mAh battery. It features a battery capacity indicator which is wonderful so you can plan your usage according to the current charge of the battery. Nitecore P12GT

Nitecore P12GT Tactical Flashlight

Nitecore makes some amazing LED flashlights! One of these is the tactical P12GT that delivers 1000 lumens. This awesome torch features a tail switch that activates the flashlight and a side switch that cycles through the four brightness modes. It also features three different specialty modes for emergencies: SOS, strobe, and location beacon. To help conserve the battery and for your convenience, the P12GT also features a memory function so it will turn onto the last brightness mode you had it on.

The P12GT can be equipped with either an 18650 lithium-ion battery or two CR123 lithium batteries, whichever you prefer. It also features a battery capacity indicator so you know what the charge of the battery is. This flashlight was made for roughing it! Klarus ST15 Dual-Switch Tactical Flashlight


The ST15 is an awesome outdoor light that you can rely on! It delivers 1100 lumens and features four different brightness modes to choose from. You can turn the flashlight ON and OFF using the tail switch and cycle through the brightness modes and access the strobe and SOS mode by using the side switch. It also features a memory function that will remember the last brightness mode you used.

The ST15 comes with a rechargeable 18650 Klarus battery and has a battery capacity indicator. The indicator glows green when the battery is 70% -100% charged; it glows orange when it’s 30%-70% charged; it glows red when it’s 10%-30% charged and will flash red when it drops under 10%. The XT1C is an awesome EDC and tactical flashlight so it’s small enough that you can put it in your pocket, but it’s also perfect to mount on a pistol. It delivers 700 lumens and features three brightness modes and two flashing modes: strobe and SOS. It has a dual-tactical tail switch that is easy to operate with one hand. This dual-tail switch is very popular with many users and a feature that Klarus takes pride in.

The XT1C also features two programmable settings: the Tactical setting and the Outdoor setting. In the Tactical setting you have One-Touch turbo with the main switch and One-Touch strobe with the secondary switch. In the Outdoor setting you have One-Touch turbo with the main switch and One-Touch low with the secondary switch. This is the magnificent EDC flashlight I used the other day in the garage, by the way. The Mi7 is a small everyday carry flashlight that’s capable of deliver 700 lumens! It features a side switch that allows you to turn the light ON and OFF, cycle through the 3 brightness modes, and activate the strobe mode. You can access immediate turbo by clicking the switch and activate low by holding the switch down. You can also lock-out the switch to prevent any accidental illumination.

It comes with a AA battery, but in order to get the full 700 lumens you’ll need a 14500 battery. Still, it’s great to know that the Mi7 can easily run on AA batteries since they’re easily accessible.
